JCBunny: Santa Paws Edition is Bun Chia Burrow's second small pet photoshoot fundraiser in Long Beach, where small pet families can book a private 15-minute session with professional photographer Ana Suarez for for a holiday portrait with their rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, hamster, or rat.
All proceeds benefit Second Hop, our good samaritan fund that pulls red-listed rabbits from LA Animal Services and Long Beach Animal Care Services and funds their urgent medical care. Every session booked is a direct contribution to a rabbit who needs it most.
What's Included
Each session includes a visit with Santa Paws and a private 15-minute professional photoshoot with photographer Ana Suarez, plus unlimited digital copies of your gallery delivered after the event. Sessions are sanitized between appointments so your small pet has time to settle in and feel comfortable before their close-up.
Up to 4 pets + 2 humans are welcome per session at no additional charge. For fluffles of 5 or more, please book two consecutive slots.

About Second Hop
Second Hop is Bun Chia Burrow's rescue fund for red-listed rabbits at Los Angeles and Long Beach Animal Services. We pull rabbits facing euthanasia as good samaritans and fund their medical care, rehabilitation, and rehoming.

Which pets can attend?
All small mammals are welcome - rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, and rats. Rabbits must be current on their RHDV-2 vaccination and all other smalls must provide a certificate of wellness (within the last 6 months).
What should I bring?
Your pet/s in a secure carrier, any props or accessories you'd like in the photos, and a small amount of their favorite treats to keep them relaxed and camera-ready (complimentary treats will also be provided on-site).
How many pets can I bring per session?
Up to 4 pets are included in a single 15-minute session. For fluffles of 5 or more, please book two consecutive slots and note the number of pets when registering.
When will I receive my photos?
Bun Chia Burrow will deliver your digital gallery after the event. Please expect a 14 day turnaround for all galleries (raw images). Edited images will incur additional fees.
How do I add a carrier tag?
Carrier tags can be added at checkout or by emailing info@bunchiaburrow.com. We'll follow up to collect your pet's details - name, photo, weight, breed, age, emergency contact, and parent name.
Is this a good event for shy or nervous pets?
We've built breaks between every session to keep the environment calm and low-stress. Email us ahead of time if your pet needs extra accommodation and we'll plan around them.
Where do proceeds go?
100% of session fees benefit Second Hop, Bun Chia Burrow's good samaritan rescue fund for at-risk shelter rabbits in Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Is parking available?
Yes - free street parking is available in front of the hotel, and a small parking lot is located behind the building.
