ABOUT

We’re M & SD, the humans behind The Burrow. We created The Burrow as a resource for rabbit parents locally, as well as worldwide.

We have three rabbits - Marshmallow, Macaron & Chocolatte - who are all rescues, and were personally bonded by us. SD graduated from UC-Irvine with a biology degree, but went on to specialize in behavior and development. Her behavioralist expertise and 10+ years managing and conducting her own clinical research in a lab setting has allowed us to create a bonding program supported by scientific peer-reviewed articles. We have poured hours into learning proper rabbit care, and hope to share our love of rabbits with you. We also care for other small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, etc.). Just ask!

We are partners of Rabbit Savior Society, an up and coming resource for rabbit parents everywhere and volunteers** for Los Angeles Animal Service, LA Rabbit Foundation, and Save SomeBunny.

We are currently in the process of adding more services as we continue to grow. Please feel free to leave an email or a message on our Instagram if you have a need that you feel that is not being met, but that we are able to.
