Priority is given to veterinary clinic/hospital referrals. We accept direct bookings based on availability.

How do I book medical boarding?

Can I book same-day?
Same-day check-in is available only for established clients. New clients must book in advance. Emergency situations: text (714) 485-8383.
What are check-in/check-out times?
Check-in: Flexible timing for medical situations (anytime by appointment)
Check-out: 7AM-12PM on end date

How long are typical stays?
Post-spay/neuter: 1-7 days
Dental procedures: 2-5 days
Complex surgeries: 7-14 days
Extended recovery: 2-4 weeks

How are emergency stays billed?
Emergency stays billed as rolling reservations (tier 1, 2, or 3). Weekly and monthly discounts apply. We work with you on flexible billing.
Communication + Monitoring
Can I watch my pet during recovery?
Of course! All medical boarding guests get 24/7 live camera access. We send minimum one daily update but can send more upon request. Video calls available at no cost.
Can bonded companions stay together?
Yes! Bonded pairs recover better together. All tiers accommodate bonded companions.
Are medical guests in a separate area?
Yes. Medical guests are housed separately in quiet recovery areas.
Health + Safety
Are vaccinations required?
Yes. All rabbits must be RHDV-2 vaccinated (or submit veterinarian exemption note). We verify vaccination status for every reservation.
Guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, and hamsters need a veterinarian's note confirming good health.
Is pet insurance required?
No. All medical boarding includes basic pet insurance through Pet Sitter's Associates.

Do I need to bring my pet's carrier?
Yes. We keep carriers for emergency transport if urgent vet care is needed.
What should I pack?
No! We provide everything: premium pellets, species-appropriate diet, critical care food, medication supplies, bedding, enrichment.
For comfort, you can pack: favorite stuffed animal, hidey hole, chew toys, puzzles, or an item that smells like you.
Additional Services
Can I add grooming during medical boarding?
No. We don't provide additional services during recovery to avoid stress or interference with healing. Grooming can be scheduled after full recovery.
