Absolutely! That's exactly why we offer the complimentary Rabbit Care 101 consultation. We'll teach you everything you need to know, and we're always here for follow-up support.
Can I adopt just one rabbit?
You can, but rabbits are social animals who thrive with companions. If you're adopting a single rabbit, we strongly recommend considering a second rabbit in the future. We can help with bonding when you're ready! Learn about our Bonding Retreat →
What if I adopt from a different rescue not listed here?
We focus our adoption incentives on our direct rescue partners, but we're always happy to help new rabbit parents regardless of where you adopted. Contact us about consultation services.
How do I know which rabbit is right for me?
Visit the rescue! Spend time with different rabbits. Ask about their personalities, energy levels, and any special needs. The rescue staff know their rabbits well and can help match you with the perfect bun.
What does the adoption process look like?
Each rescue has their own process, but generally includes an application, possible home visit, adoption fee ($50-150+ typically), and adoption contract. The rescues will walk you through it.
Are there rabbits that need to be adopted together?
Yes! Many rescues have bonded pairs who must be adopted together. Bonded rabbits are actually easier—they keep each other company and entertained. Plus, you get double the floof!
