As of May 1, 2024, all rabbits must be RHDV-2 vaccinated (or submit a veterinarian's note explaining exemption). We take this seriously and verify vaccination status for every reservation.

We offer low-cost RHDV-2 vaccine clinics twice a year to help clients stay current.

Guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, and hamsters need a veterinarian's note confirming good health.

We will email you the log-in credentials separately a week prior to your pet/s’ staycation check-in.

During your pet's staycation:

1. You will have full access to the camera. Please do not change any settings.

2. Audio is already disabled. Please refrain from using the speak to talk function as it will disturb other guests.

3. Because this camera relies on batteries, you may experience a lag every time you enter the app.

After your pet's staycation:

1. No further action is necessary! We will remove you once the staycation is over.

ou can add a full spa day grooming (fur, nails, scent glands, and ears) for $100 per rabbit (any weight).

Important: If you decline grooming but your rabbit requires professional grooming during their stay due to excessive shedding, a $150 grooming fee applies per the Release of Responsibility. The session lasts approximately 90 minutes. (We determine if your pet/s require a professional grooming based on excessive shedding - i.e. during social playtime, we pet them and patches of fur are coming off vs. normal fur release).

Free Roam Suite guests receive one (1) complimentary spa service (nail trim, scent glands, OR ear cleaning).

We prioritize your pet's health and safety:

1. Immediate triage with our rabbit first aid kit

2. Contact you immediately about the situation

3. Seek medical care without delay

4. Transport to your primary vet during business hours

5. Transport to emergency clinic after hours if needed

We're not licensed veterinarians, but will administer prescribed medications if necessary. We have access to multiple exotic vet clinics and emergency hospitals within 30 miles.

Please note: you will be required to reimburse the Bun Chia Burrow for all medical expenses.

We've been rabbit owners for 6+ years and currently volunteer with rescues and shelters throughout Los Angeles and Orange counties. Our team is well-versed in emergency protocols and has relationships with experienced exotic veterinarians within a 30-mile radius.

If extension is approved: You'll be charged the daily rate for additional days.
