Why is the Vet Set?
The Vet Set is a curated series of veterinary talks designed for rabbit guardians who want to deepen their understanding of specific health topics beyond the foundational knowledge covered in our Spring Wellness Rally.

Think of it this way:

  • Spring Wellness Rally (March/April): Big educational event covering emergency preparedness, first aid, bloat vs. stasis, hands-on practicum, acupuncture demo, and forage making

  • The Vet Set (June-August): Focused veterinary talks diving deeper into specialized topics

  • Fall Wellness Rally (October/November): Return of the comprehensive all-day event

The Vet Set fills the summer months with ongoing education, keeping the momentum from Spring Wellness Rally going while giving you targeted, expert-led sessions on topics you want to learn more about.

Why Attend?
Expert-Led Sessions
Learn directly from veterinarians and specialists who treat rabbits regularly. These aren't generic small animal talks - they're rabbit-specific.

Focused Topics
Unlike our all-day rallies, The Vet Set sessions dive deep into single topics, giving you time for detailed discussion and Q&A.

Smaller Groups
More intimate settings mean more opportunity to ask your specific questions and get personalized guidance.

Ongoing Education
Continue building your rabbit care knowledge throughout the summer. Each session stands alone - attend one, two, or all three.

Community Building
See familiar faces from Spring Wellness Rally and meet new members of the SoCal rabbit community.

Who Should Attend?
The Vet Set is designed for rabbit guardians who:

  • Attended Spring Wellness Rally and want to continue learning

  • Have specific health concerns or chronic conditions they want to better understand

  • Want direct access to rabbit-savvy veterinarians for Q&A

  • Are interested in staying current on rabbit medicine and care standards

  • Want to be part of an engaged, educated rabbit care community

Whether you're a first-time rabbit parent or have years of experience, The Vet Set offers expert guidance to help you make informed decisions about your rabbit's health.

What to Bring
Notepad & Pen: Take notes on veterinary guidance and recommendations

Questions: Come prepared with specific health concerns or scenarios you want expert input on

Open Mind: Some topics may challenge conventional wisdom or introduce new approaches to rabbit care

Event Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have attended Spring Wellness Rally to attend The Vet Set?
No! While The Vet Set is a continuation of themes introduced at Spring Wellness Rally, each session stands alone. You don't need any prerequisite knowledge to attend.

Will there be hands-on components like the Spring Wellness Rally practicum?
The Vet Set focuses on lecture-style talks with Q&A. Hands-on practicums are reserved for our Spring and Fall Wellness Rally events.

Can I bring my rabbit to the talks?
No. The Vet Set sessions are educational talks for humans only. This keeps the focus on learning without the distraction of managing rabbits during presentations.

Will sessions be recorded?
Due to the interactive Q&A nature and to protect attendee privacy, sessions are not recorded. Attendees are welcome to take personal notes.

What if I can only attend one session?
Perfect! Each Vet Set talk is standalone. Attend the topics that interest you most - there's no requirement to attend all three.

How long is each session?
Sessions will run for roughly 90 minutes including Q&A.

Will you offer The Vet Set again?
Yes, if enough speakers commit. The Vet Set will be our seasonal summer and winter educational series.

Can I request a specific topic or speaker?
Yes! Email info@bunchiaburrow.com with topics you'd like to see covered. While we can't guarantee every request, attendee input helps shape future programming.

Is parking available?
Yes! Free parking is available on-site at our Viking location. Additional street parking is available on Viking Way if needed.
